What is Positive Coaching?

Coaching is a safe space, unlocking opportunities for reflection, deepening awareness, recognising obstacles, unlocking unconscious patterns of behaviour and working together to set and achieve new levels of fulfilment.

 

The coaching process involves active listening, careful and considered questioning and holding a safe space for the client to progress in their thinking, facilitating opportunities for growth, self-development and mindset shifts.

 

The optimum outcome for effective Positive Coaching, is to provide the client with fresh insight, understanding and awareness of what has been holding them back in life. The client will gain a more conscious relationship with themselves, their thinking and their behaviours. The client will move forward with a fresh perspective and will walk away with a mental ‘toolbox’ for living a healthier, happier and more authentic life.

 

A Positive Coach, is akin to a Personal trainer, the only difference is we are working on improving the health, strength, movement and maintenance of your mind. Each session we will be forming new routines (in your thinking) and building the mental muscles enabling you to feel stronger, more in control and healthier.

How it 
Works..

I use the ‘solution focused’ approach in my coaching. The main component of our sessions will be ‘solving’ problems, rather than exploring them. Although we will be drawing on past experiences and understanding the elements from the past that frame our current reality, my main aim is to help you feel that you are moving forward with your thinking, discovering actionable techniques to reach the solution and, ultimately gaining a renewed sense of Autonomy and control of your life.
